Case Study – Pennine Community Supports

The Customer
Pennine Community Supports are an Australian community based disability support service, providing assistance to people to live independently within their community through a goals-based approach.
Pennines purpose and goal is to provide quality, individualised services to people with a disability so they can live independently in the community and achieve their goals and aspirations.
The Opportunity
Pennine required SharePoint and Power Platform developers to develop a new company intranet and to also digitize several paper based forms with automations.
The intranet requirements focused on efficiency for the company including collaboration, document management, structured storage and internal user engagement.
The paper based forms to be digitised required multiple automations and alerts for new submissions, along with high level views in SharePoint to manage all submissions in a central dashboard type view.
The Approach
To create the SharePoint intranet, we completed multiple requirements gathering sessions to understand the intranet structure and to understand how the business will operate. Using our templated builds we were able to map out and implement an intranet to match the structure of Pennines business, and include all out of the box web parts and functions requested.
For the forms, we built a number of Microsoft PowerApps and a number of Microsoft Forms to cover all internal and external forms. We applied a high focus on the design of the PowerApps on top of the functionality to keep consistency across all Microsoft products used by Pennine.
The Result
WeTechCareOfYou with Pennine was able to work in a collaborative effort to create the intranet and apps/forms required. By providing ongoing support after delivery, Pennine were able to launch the intranet successfully within the business and apply ongoing updates to mould the environment to their needs. All apps and forms launched successfully and are now utilised by all employees.
